Nokia to unveil a 10″ Windows RT tablet at MWC

According to DigiTime’s often reliable undisclosed Taiwan supply chain sources Nokia could be close to release a 10″ slate running on Qualcomm hardware and Windows RT software.

    Visa: Cashless & Contactless Payments At The Olympics

    New cashless payment system has been adopted by Visa to make lives of the Summer Olympic Games London visitors easier. Over a thousand people have been given Olympic-branded Samsung Galaxy S III linked to their Visa accounts to make payments under £20 by simply swinging their phones over an NFC reader. For those not having this special editionsmartphone, Visa has introduced PayWave contactless payment technology, when cards with a corresponding logo on the back can be waved in front of the same NFC sensors that accept the smartphone payments. So far, there has been mixed feedback on the technology, as the system has gone down at Wembley Stadium. Once, fixed, it displays the future of payments linked to mobile devices.








    Kingdom Tower In Saudi Arabia: World Tallest Project

    This Kingdom Tower (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) is approved as a central part of $20 billion Kingdom City development. Its 200 floors are expected to stand over 3,280 feet (1,000 meters) high, which is 568 feet (173 m) taller than the tallest world structure Burj Khalifa, uptake 5.7 mln sq. feet (530,000 sq. meters), and cost $1.2 billion to construct. Kingdom Tower is planned as a mixed-use building, having a luxury hotel, serviced apartments, top-notch condominiums, office spaces and the world highest observatory. It is to be finished in 2017.
