McLaren Automotive, commonly termed McLaren, is a acclaimed to be one of the best companies that produce high performance cars. The company was established in 1989 by Ron Dennis in woking, Surrey, United Kingdom. From then on, the company has been modeling world renowned sports cars taking after Formula One technology.

The McLaren F1 is the company’s pilot car created in 1992. It is  a coupe with three seats, the driver in the middle. Gordon Murray designed the car, while BMW built its engine, a 6,064 cc V12 unit capable of producing 627 bhp.

McLaren F1 is the most powerful supercar produced by  McLaren between the year 1994-1998, from the 100 cars: 65 are street versions, 5 are LMs (which was built to honor victory at Le Mans in 1995) and 3 are Gts (the road versions of the 1977 F1 GTR racing car) and 28 F1 GTR made for the roads.

Based on the normal LP 640, limited to a production run of  20 and priced at one million euro, all 20 cars were snapped up even before the cars were made.

Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., or Lamborghini for short, is an automotive manufacturer based in Sant’Agata Bolognese, a small commune in central Italy. It was founded by the manufacturing magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963,and has changed ownership many times since then. Lamborghini cars always make perfect rivals for any race track finish line.

           The Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, with its gloss primer grey paint, upgraded V12 engine, and optional  transparent engine cover, garnered oohs and aahs when it made its debut in the 2006 Geneva Motor Show.

The Reventon was the most outrageous Lamborghini ever made.It production was limited to 20 models and it was sold out before the cars were even made. It has the most power Lamborghini engine and it is the fastest Lamborghini out there. 

It has a powerful 640 bhp V12 engine which enable accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 secs and reach a top speed of 211 mph. The car resembles the Murcielago with its acute and obtuse angles.

In 1983, a racing driver named Stave Saleen established Saleen Autospor. Being a race driver and an enthusiast, just a year after their formation, they had already come up with their first creation, the Saleen Mustang. The group has been successful in producing high-quality cars and their racing version.

The latest model produced by Saleen is the 2010 S281. It doesn’t  only brag of its beautiful design  but also of its high-power engine.

However, it is the S7 that Saleen’s bread and butter. It is a high performance race car which features the powerful Twin-Turbo  V8 engine with a capacity of 7000 cc.

When the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 was launched a few years ago, it created a worldwide sensation. With 16 cylinders oozing pure power, here is the faster car on Earth capable of hitting a top speed of 407 Km/hour. It was also a unique and stunning design from VW, owners of Bugatti.

Bugatti was founded by Ettore Bugatti, who was an Italian refugee depicted as an odd genius in Molsheim, France. The original corporation is celebrated for manufacturing a number of the most elite  automobiles in the world, as well as a numbers of the quickest.

Bugatti’s original brand name did not succeed with the coming of the Second World War, like a lot of high-end marques at the time. At present, the name is possessed by the Volkswagen Group, which has restored  it for the limited manufacture elite sports cars.

If we count the fact that the  top speed Bugatti  Veyron is 407.5 km/h, a speed limited electronically to prevent tire damage (it can run even faster) we can understand why this spectacular car must consume 40.4 L/100 km (4.82 mpg) when it’s running at top speed and in city driving 24.1 L/100 km.

The Bugatti Veyron costs atleast of $1,700,000. Not many can afford it and still fewer can drive it. Many new designs has been released since 2006,the color might have changed, but the speed and power remain the same.
